When I came down from Northern Norway in July '94, I took a solo trip down the southern coast of Norway all the way to Stavanger and back over the mountains.
Over the mountains between Sirdal and Setesdal. Excellent road, they didn't have money to build a two lane road, but instead of not building a road they built a one-lane road using modern techniques. Almost made to order for motos. Note the snow, this is July 2nd
